Olney Central Signs Talented 6’5” Indiana Point Guard Braden Walters

Olney Central College Men’s Basketball is excited to welcome Braden Walters, a skilled and proven point guard who split his high school career between Linton High School and Terre Haute North in Indiana.

Over the course of his decorated high school career, Walters compiled an impressive 96-16 overall record, showcasing his winning mentality and ability to lead successful teams at both programs. His blend of toughness, vision, and leadership makes him a perfect fit for the Knights’ up-tempo, unselfish style of play.

“Braden is a winner who’s played a big role in two outstanding Indiana high school programs,” said OCC Head Coach Grayson Flittner. “He’s a true point guard, smart, poised, and always in control of the game. He understands how to run a team, makes great decisions with the ball, and leads the right way.”

Known for his high basketball IQ, elite passing, and ability to control tempo, Walters has earned praise from coaches across the state for his ability to see the floor and make others better. He’s also been extremely well coached throughout his high school career, learning under some of the best coaches in the state of Indiana, which has helped shape his understanding of the game and prepared him for the next level.

Walters brings leadership, versatility, and a competitive edge to the OCC backcourt. His experience at multiple winning programs has prepared him to make an immediate impact at the college level.
