Sophomore pitcher Kevin Davis has decided to play at the University of South Carolina Upstate next fall. Kevin will join Robby McGaha and be the second Blue Knight to choose the Spartans in two years. USC-Upstate is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina and will move from the Atlantic Sun Conference to the Big South this season.
As a freshman, Davis was used as a starter and a reliever. He started 7 games for the Knights, and posting a 5-1 record with a 3.48 ERA. Davis was most successful in the post-season where he was 2-0, while only giving up 3 runs.
Kevin is from Orland Park, Illinois and attended Lockport High School.
